Chocolate-Butterscotch Brownies
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 pkg. (3-5/8 oz. each) butterscotch pudding mix
- 1/3 cup light cream
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1.
- Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Set aside.

- Place eggs in large bowl.
- Use hand mixer or whisk to beat until very thick.
- Add flour mixture and rest of ingredients; mix well with whisk.
- (Do not use an electric mixer.)
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- 3.
- Pour into lightly greased 9x9x2-inch pan.
- Bake in preheated 325F oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
- 4.
- Place pan on wire rack to cool slightly before cutting into bars.
