Bill's Tuna Alfredo

  1. Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Add chopped onion and stir until transparent.
  4. Stir in flour to make a roux.
  5. Add milk and stir until thickened.
  6. Stir in sour cream, mushrooms, parmesan cheese and tuna.
  7. Stir until smooth.
  8. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1520 minutes to allow flavors to mingle.
  9. Serve immediately over pasta or rice.
