Creamy Sour Cream and garlic mashed potaoes

  1. Add potatoes to pot and cover with water, add lid and set on high heat to boil for about 20-25 mins
  2. Once potatoes are soft enough.
  3. I usually pierce with a fork to check.
  4. Drain water and keep in hot pot.
  5. Slice potatoes in halves and leave on the skins, add butter in a few pieces and cover with lid.
  6. When butter has melted add garlic salt and garlic powder and mash with potato masher.
  7. Add sour cream and continue to mash until creamy.
  8. Serve with or without your favorite gravy.
  9. Enjoy!
