Creamy Sour Cream and garlic mashed potaoes
- 8 red potaoes
- 16 oz sour cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp garlic salt
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- Add potatoes to pot and cover with water, add lid and set on high heat to boil for about 20-25 mins
- Once potatoes are soft enough.
- I usually pierce with a fork to check.
- Drain water and keep in hot pot.
- Slice potatoes in halves and leave on the skins, add butter in a few pieces and cover with lid.
- When butter has melted add garlic salt and garlic powder and mash with potato masher.
- Add sour cream and continue to mash until creamy.
- Serve with or without your favorite gravy.
- Enjoy!
