Mehgan's Favorite Pork Chops In White Sauce Recipe
- 10 pork chops or possibly steaks
- 4-6 c. rice, cooked
- 4 c. white sauce (see scalloped potato and ham)
- 10 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp. bacon grease
- Fry pork chops under medium-low heat in bacon grease and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover with lid while frying to keep chops moist.
- Fry only till lightly browned.
- Separately cook rice.
- Separately make white sauce in large Dutch oven.
- Add in pork chops and their juices into white sauce; stir well.
- Simmer gently for at least 20 min.
- Serve chops with rice smothered in white sauce/gravy.
- Serves 5 people.
