Stuffed Pasta Shells
- 2 cups Pasta Sauce, Store-bought Or Homemade, Divided Use
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1/2 whole Yellow Onion, Diced
- 5 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 8 ounces, weight Frozen Spinach, Thawed & Drained
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Italian Diced Tomatoes, Drained
- 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella/provolone Mix
- 16 ounces, weight Box Jumbo Pasta Shells
- 8 ounces, weight Block Mozzarella Cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly spray a 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray.
- Spread 1 cup of sauce evenly on bottom of baking dish.
- Boil water in a large pot.
- Add pasta shells and cook according to box directions.
- Drain.
- While pasta is cooking, brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
- Drain.
- Turn heat off.
- Add Italian seasoning, spinach, diced tomatoes, and mozzarella/provolone mix.
- Scoop filling into shells.
- Line filled shells in the baking dish.
- Pour remaining cup of pasta sauce over shells.
- Cut block of mozzarella cheese into 7-8 long strips.
- Lay strips over all shells.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until shells are heated and cheese is melted.
