Salsa Fresca (Fresh Sauce) Recipe
- 4 sm. tomatoes, peeled, minced
- 1/2 c. finely minced onion
- 1 jalapeno chili, seeded
- 2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon dry leaf oregano, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, onion and chili.
- Add in extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, lime juice, oregano and salt; mix well.
- Let sauce stand 2 hrs to blend flavors.
- Serve at room temperature.
- Makes 2 c..
