Andes Shrimp And Corn Main Dish Chowder Recipe
- 1/4 c. minced green onions
- 1 sm garlic clove chopped
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter - (to 2 tbspns)
- 2 can cream of potato soup
- 1 pkt cream cheese - (3 ounce) softened
- 1 x soup can lowfat milk - (to 1 1/2 cans)
- 2 c. frzn cleaned raw shrimp
- 1 can whole kernel corn - (8 ounce) not liquid removed
- In saucepan, cook onions with garlic, cayenne pepper, and butter till tender.
- Blend soup, cream cheese and lowfat milk.
- Add in shrimp and corn.
- Bring to boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat and cover.
- Simmer 10 min or possibly till done.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
