Porcupine Meatballs Recipe
- 1 pound grnd sirloin
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 onion, cut fine
- 1 egg
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cans Campbells cream of mushroom soup, diluted with 1 c. water
- Mix above ingredients.
- Form into meatballs, packing loosely so rice can expand.
- Brown meatballs in small amount of Crisco oil.
- Place meatballs in Dutch oven.
- Cover with cream of mushroom soup.
- Cover and cook in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Baste often.
