Glazed Salmon
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Butter, Melted
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Ginger
- 4 whole (Individual Serving Size) Salmon Fillets
- Note: Youll also need a food-safe cedar grilling plank (see note below for prep of the plank).
- In a small bowl stir together the glaze ingredients (everything except the salmon) until the sugar is dissolved.
- To grill fish on a cedar plank: Brush the pre-heated plank with 2 tablespoons of the glaze.
- Then place the salmon fillets on the plank.
- Brush the remaining glaze over the fish.
- Grill for 20-30 minutes (no need to turn the fish) over medium heat, or until done.
- Note: Cedar planks need to be soaked covered in water for a minimum of 4 hours before using.
- Then remove the planks from the water before grilling.
- For best results, preheat the grill to medium (400 F).
- Place the plank on the grill for exactly 5 minutes to preheat.
- Flip the plank and immediately place the sauce/meat on the hot side.
- Try to grill without peeking.
