Ginger Pork Loin (Shoga-yaki)

  1. Lightly season the pork with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix all the ingredients marked with a .
  3. Put the katakuriko in a plastic bag and add the pork.
  4. Shake to coat the pork.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (not listed) in a pan, and add the pork.
  6. Brown one side at a time.
  7. When it has turned a nice colour, add in the ingredients.
  8. Heat over a low heat for a minute and then transfer to a serving plate.
  9. Drizzle on the sauce and it's done.
  10. Serve as one slice or cut it up!
  11. Serve with cabbage or lettuce.
