Mexico City Hominy Soup
- 1 lb spicy sausage
- 14 cup diced onion
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 14 teaspoon thyme
- 6 cups seasoned chicken broth
- 2 cups hominy
- 14 cup chopped green onion (optional)
- 1 -3 corn tortilla strips, per bowl (optional)
- 2 garlic toast, crackers, crustinis
- cookk sausage and onion till done ,about 20 min,.
- add hoiny,cook about 2 minute.
- add chicken stock and simmer.
- serve.
- if you want,you can add raw corn tortillas wedges,choppped chives or crustini.
