  1. Put ginger and garlic into a food processor and add 1/2 cup water.
  2. Blend until fairly smooth.
  3. Heat the oil in a wide, heavy saucepan over a medium flame.
  4. When hot, put in the cumin seeds.
  5. Stir for half a minute.
  6. Pour in th ginger-garlic paste.
  7. Stir and cook for abouttwo minutes.
  8. Put in the coriander and stir a few times.
  9. Put in the chopped tomatoes.
  10. Stir and cook for 2 minutes mashing the tomato pieces with the back of a slotted spoon.
  11. Put in the beans and salt and one cup of water.
  12. Bring to simmer.
  13. Cover, turn heat to low and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until the Remove the cover.
  14. Add the lemon juice and a generous amount of freshly ground pepper.
