Delicious Dilly Chicken
- 2 large Chicken breasts
- 1 packages Egg noodles
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 1 1/2 clove Chopped garlic
- 1 tsp Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp Dill (fresh or dried)
- 1 tbsp Fresh squeezed lemon (can use artificial) I also used a small amount of lemon zest
- Pre heat oven to 350.
- Put the sour cream, lemon, dill, garlic, onion soup mix, milk, cream of chicken soup, salt and pepper to taste all in a bowl and whisk,
- I browned the chicken breast lightly in some hot olive oil and fresh garlic
- Put the pieces of chicken in the baking dish then pour creamy mixture over it, cover & bake.
- Bake 1 hr for boneless and 1 1/2 hrs for bone in chicken.
- (I usually only use chicken breasts)
- Uncover last 10 mins.
- Serve over egg noodles and enjoy!
- Tip: (Also I mixed up the sauce and let it marinate in the fridge a few hours before I prepared this dish, as many times as I've made this, this time it turned out the best!)
