Grandmother's Tomato Aspic Recipe
- 2 Packages lemon Jello
- 3 c. V-8 juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 dashes Tabasco
- 4 tbsp. lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Celery seed to taste
- 2 c. celery, minced
- 3/4 c. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. stuffed olives, sliced
- 1/2 c. or possibly less shrimp, optional
- Artichoke hearts to garnish
- Heat 1 c. V-8 juice.
- Add in Jello till dissolved.
- Add in remaining V-8 juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, lemon juice, salt, celery seed.
- Let mix partially gel.
- Stir in celery, onions and olives.
- Pour into small ring mold with individual molds.
- Garnish with artichoke hearts.
- Serves 5 to 6.
