Homemade Beef Stew Pot Pie
- 2 cups Flour
- 23 cups Shortening Or Lard
- 8 Tablespoons Water
- 5 cups Leftover Beef Stew Or Whatever Type Stew You Have
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- Combine flour, shortening and water in a bowl and mix together well.
- Divide dough.
- I used a large deep pie dish.
- Roll dough to a size that will fit your dish, then place the first half in the bottom of the dish.
- Add beef stew (or any other stew) to the dish, spread evenly.
- Roll out the other half of the dough and place on top of the stew.
- Fold together and pinch edges to close edges.
- Make a couple of small slits on top.
- Using a pastry brush, brush the entire top with milk.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
- Enjoy!
