Taco Beef Noodle Bake Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. med. noodles
- 2 c. sm. curd cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 2 teaspoon beef bouillon (granular)
- 1/4 c. minced green onion
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Cook grnd beef and onion till meat is browned, stirring often to crumble meat; drain off drippings.
- Add in tomato sauce, water and taco seasoning mix; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 10 min.
- Cook noodles according to package and drain.
- Combine noodles, cottage cheese, lowfat sour cream, flour, bouillon and green onion.
- Mix well.
- Spoon noodle mix into a greased 2 1/2 qt casserole.
- Top with meat mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
- Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and bake 5 min longer or possibly till cheese is melted.
- Let stand 10 min, then serve.
