Thyme Pork Chops & Gravy Recipe
- 8 pork chops
- 3 tbsp. veg. oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd thyme
- 6 tbsp. cool water
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 tbsp. snipped chives
- 2 c. chicken broth
- Brown pork chops in oil on both sides.
- Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
- Add in onions to drippings and cook till tender.
- Add in broth, thyme, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pork chops to skillet.
- Cover and simmer 35 to 40 min.
- Makes 8 servings.
