Shrimp In Spicy Sauce Recipe

  1. Saute/fry the chilies, onions and celery in oil till the onions are soft.
  2. Add in the tomatoes, bay leaf, parsley, sugar, salt and pepper; cook till most of the liquid has evaporated and the sauce is quite thick.
  3. Reduce the heat, add in shrimp, cover and simmer about 10 min, being careful not to overcook.
  4. Serve over rice, with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Makes 4-6 servings.
  6. Heat scale 7 out of 10.
