Mexican Salad
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 head lettuce, shredded
- 1 (8 ounce) bottle thousand island dressing
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- 15 ounces canned kidney beans, drained
- 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 6 14 ounces Doritos
- 1 lb ground beef
- 14 teaspoon salt
- Tabasco sauce
- chili powder
- Brown hamburger, drain grease, toss with beans, salt, and chili powder.
- Simmer for ten minutes.
- Place onions tomatoes, and lettuce in large bowl.
- Toss in cheese.
- Toss again with dressing and Tabasco.
- Remove 10-12 Doritos from bag and crush remaining chips into small pieces.
- Add crushed chips to salad.
- Add ground beef mixture with salad and toss.
- Decorate top of salad with remaining Doritos and avocado.
- Serve immediately.
