Toasted Sesame Hummus

  1. In a small skillet, toast sesame seeds over medium heat until golden, shaking pan often.
  2. Be careful not to burn the seeds.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Add garlic cloves to a food processor and pulse until minced.
  5. Add garbanzo beans, olive oil, lemon juice and kosher salt to the food processor and blend until smooth.
  6. If mixture is too thick, add 2-3 tablespoons of reserved garbanzo bean juice, tablespoon by tablespoon, until it reaches desired smooth consistency.
  7. Add toasted sesame seeds and blend until fully processed.
  8. Chill until cold, approximately 1-2 hours.
  9. Enjoy!
