Hamburger Spanish Ranch Style Beans Recipe
- 2 onions
- 1 stalk celery
- 4 tbsp. oil
- 3 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 can pimento, minced
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 lg. cans undrained minced mushrooms
- 4 cans red kidney beans
- 1 bottle Heinz warm ketchup
- 1/3 c. reg. ketchup
- Dash of Tabasco sauce
- Salt & pepper
- Saute/fry onions and celery in oil.
- Brown grnd beef, drain.
- Add in pimento, brown sugar, mushrooms, kidney beans, Heinz warm ketchup, regular ketchup, Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper.
- Bake in casserole dish at 375 degrees for 45 min.
- Good for freezing.
- May be cooked in large pan on stove, simmer one hour.
- Makes a lot, about 4 1/2 qts.
- Half recipe cooks good in a crock pot.
