Bean Soup (French Market) Recipe

  1. Rinse beans, drain.
  2. Cover with water and soak overnight.
  3. In large kettle add in 2 qts water, ham hocks, and onions and cook for 2 hrs.
  4. Remove bones and add in remaining ingredients and simmer 1/2 to 1 hour till done.
