Rump Roast Pot Roast Recipe
- 5-6 pound rump roast
- Salt
- ) cans tomato juice
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- Add in salt to the bottom of the pan you will use.
- Wash meat thoroughly in cool water.
- Put the meat in the pot (no water) and sear on all sides over a low flame.
- After searing, add in 2 cans tomato juice and 1 can tomato sauce.
- Raise flame so which the meat cooks.
- Cook 1/2 hour per lb.
