Scrambled Tofu Bowl
- 2 bowls Freshly cooked rice
- 300 grams Tofu
- 70 grams~ Thinly sliced pork
- 1/2 Carrot
- 1 as much as you prefer Green peas, shiitake mushrooms, etc
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 + 1 tablespoon Egg + mentsuyu
- Drain the tofu.
- Cut pork into bite size pieces, finely julienne the carrots and other vegetables.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Saute the pork, carrots and the other vegetables.
- Mash the tofu with your hands and saute.
- Add the seasonings and simmer.
- Reduce the liquid.
- Whisk the eggs and mentsuyu.
- Pour in the egg mixture and mix briskly.
- Top over the warm rice.
- Or you could top the egg mixture from the Step 5 over the warm rice and add the tofu from Step 4.
- Top with whatever vegetables you prefer.
- I tried with cabbage and it was good.
