How to Store Nagaimo Yam
- 1 Nagaimo yam
- 2 sheets Paper towels
- 1 Rubber band
- Peel the skin from the amount yam that you will be use.
- Likewise, if you are grating it, peel the skin from the amount of yam you will be grating.
- Remove the moisture (starchiness) by wiping the surface with a paper towel.
- Wrap the cut side with a new sheet of paper towel.
- Secure the paper towel with a rubber band, and it's done.
- Store it in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator.
- Before using the yam again, trim off the dried surface.
