How to Store Nagaimo Yam

  1. Peel the skin from the amount yam that you will be use.
  2. Likewise, if you are grating it, peel the skin from the amount of yam you will be grating.
  3. Remove the moisture (starchiness) by wiping the surface with a paper towel.
  4. Wrap the cut side with a new sheet of paper towel.
  5. Secure the paper towel with a rubber band, and it's done.
  6. Store it in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator.
  7. Before using the yam again, trim off the dried surface.
