Sugared Pecans

  1. Beat egg whites until foamy.
  2. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating till stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in pecans.
  4. Pour butter into a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jellyroll pan.
  5. Spread pecan mixture over butter.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 min, stirring every 10 minute Cool and store in an airtight container.
