Oven-Fried Herb Chicken
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter
- 1 1/2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing mix
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons rubbed or ground sage
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (3- to 3 1/2-pound) cut-up broiler-fryer chicken
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Melt butter in 13x9-inch baking pan in oven.
- Meanwhile, combine stuffing mix, parsley, sage and garlic powder in 9-inch pie pan; mix well.
- Dip chicken pieces into melted butter, then roll in seasoned crumb mixture to coat.
- Place in prepared pan, skin-side up.
- Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
- Bake 70-80 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165F and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
