Creamy Cheese Fusilli
- 300 grams fusilli
- 150 grams shrimp
- 10 stalks asparagus, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 4 tbsp cream cheese
- 100 grams shredded cheddar cheese
- 200 ml milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- Heat water until boiling, add fusilli, cook until al dente.
- Remove water/strain.
- While waiting pasta done, in different pan, heat butter.
- Saute garlic and onion until caramelized
- Add shrimp, then add asparagus.
- Cook a while until shrimp turn orange.
- Add milk, cheddar cheese.
- Stir.
- Then add cream cheese.
- Stir well until thick and creamy.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Add basil.
- Heat cooked pasta.
- Pour creamy sauce into cooked pasta.
- Stir well.
- Remove from heat.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top, ready to serve.
