Candy Canes

• leftover candy canes
• pint jar of clear verathane varnish
• 1 can aresol hair spray

1. I have taken the candy canes from the tree and dipped them in clear verathane (a varnish), hung them out to dry over newspaper and then put them away.
2. Another way is to hair spray them and then dip them in verathane.
3. This seems to work the best.
