Tuna Quiche
- 1 x pie shell (9 inch) unbaked, deep-dish
- 1 can tuna drained and flaked
- 1 1/2 cups onions finely chopped
- 1 package green peas frozen
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chives chopped
- 1 x garlic salt to taste
- 1 x salt to taste
- 1 x black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups swiss cheese
- Pierce bottom and sides of pie shell with fork.
- Bake at 450 for 5 minutes.
- Layer tuna, cheese, peas and onion in pie shell.
- Beat eggs, evaporated milk, lemon juice, chives and seasonings.
- Reduce temperature to 350 .
- Bake for 12 minutes longer or until golden brown.
