Cornish Hens with Wild Rice.

  1. melt butter add garlic powder, basil, rosemary, and pepper
  2. rub mixture on hens
  3. place hens on rotisserie, cook for 45 minutes, until juices no longer pink and skin is golden
  4. For The Rice Side
  5. melt butter in pan
  6. saute onion
  7. add rice and 3 cups water
  8. heat to boiling then cover and reduce heat
  9. stir in garlic powder and basil
  10. simmer for 45 to 60 minutes until tender
  11. for 2 hearty servings serve chickens whole, for two light serving split chickens
  12. serve with the rice as a side
  13. enjoy
