VELVEETA Easy Red Beans & Rice
- 1 pkg. (13 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Selects Uncured Smoked Turkey Sausage, cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise into thin slices
- 1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed
- 1 can (10 oz.) RO*TEL Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, undrained
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
- 1/4 lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- Cook sausage in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 5 min.
- or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
- Add beans, tomatoes and chili powder; mix well.
- Stir in water.
- Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in rice and VELVEETA; cover.
- Simmer on low heat 5 to 7 minutes or until rice is tender and most of the water is absorbed.
- Remove skillet from heat; stir until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
