Maple-Dijon Nuts

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Spread nuts evenly onto bottom of foil-covered rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Bake 6 min.
  4. or until lightly toasted.
  5. Meanwhile, mix syrup and mustard until blended.
  6. Pour syrup mixture over nuts; stir to evenly coat.
  7. Bake 8 to 10 min.
  8. or until syrup mixture is cooked off, stirring after 5 min.
  9. Mix sugar and red pepper until blended; sprinkle over nuts.
  10. Stir.
  11. Cool completely.
