Harvest Broccoli au Gratin
- 5 cups small broccoli florets
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 Gala apple, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup raisins
- Place broccoli in large microwaveable bowl.
- Add water; cover with waxed paper.
- Microwave on HIGH 3 to 4 min.
- or until broccoli is crisp-tender; drain.
- Return to bowl.
- Cook and stir bacon in small saucepan on medium heat until crisp.
- Remove bacon from pan with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
- Discard all but 2 tsp.
- drippings from pan.
- Add apples and garlic to reserved drippings; cook 3 to 4 min.
- or until apples are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
- Add VELVEETA; cook on low heat 2 min.
- or until VELVEETA is completely melted and sauce is well blended, stirring constantly.
- Stir in sour cream and bacon.
- Add VELVEETA sauce and raisins to broccoli; mix lightly.
