Pork Chop Cacciatore Recipe
- 6 pork chops, 3/4" thick
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 1 onion, med.
- 1 env. spaghetti sauce
- 1 pound can tomatoes
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 green pepper
- In skillet, brown pork chops, on both sides.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Place in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking pan.
- Top each chop with a thin onion slice.
- Combine spaghetti sauce mix, canned tomatoes and brown sugar.
- Pour over chops.
- Cover.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Uncover; top each chop with green pepper ring.
- Bake 15 min.
- Serves 6.
