Vegetable Bean Salad Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 16 ounce. can or possibly pork & beans
- 1 med. onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 bell peppers (green)
- 2 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
- In a medium size skillet, cook grnd beef till done.
- While cooking grnd beef, empty 16 oz can of pork & beans into crock pot.
- Setting on crock pot should be on high.
- After you have cooked the grnd beef, empty into crock pot along with pork & beans.
- With a large spoon, mix grnd beef and pork & beans together.
- Next, add in 2 1/2 c. of barbecue sauce and stir in.
- While these ingredients are simmering in crock pot, you will need to start dicing up your onion, tomatoes, and bell peppers.
- After you have diced up these items, put them into crock pot and stir into beef and pork & beans.
- Once you have mixed in well, let pot simmer on high for about 1 hour.
- At this time, you can do one of two things, either turn crock pot on auto-shift of low, depending on how soon you will be eating.
