Turnip Casserole Serves Eight Recipe

• 3 lg. carrots
• 3 sm. turnips
• 2 tbsp. bread crumbs
• 2 tbsp. butter
• 1 tbsp. brown sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 beaten egg
• 1/2 c. cream

1. Boil carrots and turnips together, drain and put through sieve.
2. Add in remaining ingredients.
3. Put in casserole.
4. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
