Chocolate Lover's Ice Cream Pie

  1. Stir together crushed cookies and melted butter in medium bowl.
  2. Press on bottom and sides of 9-inch round pie pan.
  3. Freeze until firm, about 10 minutes.
  4. Spread ice cream evenly over crust.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap; freeze until firm, about 6 hours, or overnight.
  6. Remove pie from freezer; let soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  7. Just before serving, drizzle pie with chocolate syrup.
  8. Garnish with frozen whipped topping and chocolate chip cookie pieces, if desired.
