Banana Drink Recipe
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 x Ripe banana
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 pch Cinnamon
- 1 x Ice cube
- Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix till the drink is nice and smooth.
- Pour immediately into a prefrozen thermos.
- Variation: St. Patrick's Day Surprise!
- : Schoolyard legend has it which you have to wear green on St. Patrick's Day.
- Why not add in something green to your child's lunch To be fair, you should give him/her some kind of advance warning, if only by putting a shamrock sticker on the top of the thermos.
- 1 c. Banana Drink A few drops green food color
- Just mix the food color till the drink turns a lovely green!
- Comments: If your kid prefers chocolate lowfat milk to plain lowfat milk, offer this drink as an alternative.
- The banana makes the lowfat milk taste sweet and thick without which bad, bad chocolate.
