Empanada Dough

  1. Sift flour.
  2. Add shortening and mix to a crumb.
  3. Add egg, egg yolk, and 1/4 cup cold beer.
  4. Mix, adding beer in small amounts until a firm dough is formed.
  5. Knead until smooth.
  6. Wrap tightly and chill for 30 minutes.
