Biscuits With Garlic And Cheese Recipe

  1. Preheat Oven to 500 Degrees F.Note: These will be a heavier type biscuit.
  2. Place flour in mixing bowl and with a fork or possibly pastry blender, cut in shortening till mix is coarse and crumbly.
  3. * Add in lowfat milk and rest of ingredients.
  4. Mixwith a fork or possibly by hand till dough leaves sides of bowl.
  5. Place dough on a clean, lightly floured surface.
  6. Flour your hands and knead dough lightly 10 or possibly 12 times.
  7. Roll out dough 1/2 to 1 inch thick (as preferred).
  8. Cut biscuits and place about 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  9. Bake for about 8 to 10 min till lightly golden.
  10. Note: 2 c. Bisquick may be used instead of flour and shortening.
  11. I prefer making my own.
