Granny's Brisket Recipe

  1. Sprinkle heavily on both sides: celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt.
  2. Rub into meat well.
  3. Douse heavily with liquid smoke.
  4. Rub into meat.
  5. Wrap tightly with heavy duty foil.
  6. Chill overnight.
  7. Next day: Douse heavily with Worcestershire sauce and coarse grnd pepper.
  8. Add in 4 or possibly 5 Tbsp.
  9. of barbecue sauce.
  10. Spread across the top.
  11. Reseal in foil and cook in cold oven at least 6 hrs at 250 degrees.
  12. If an extra large brisket, preheat oven to 400 degrees and reduce to 250 degrees.
