Granny's Brisket Recipe
- Brisket
- Celery salt
- Onion salt
- Garlic salt
- Liquid smoke
- Worcestershire sauce
- Coarse grnd pepper
- Barbecue sauce
- Sprinkle heavily on both sides: celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt.
- Rub into meat well.
- Douse heavily with liquid smoke.
- Rub into meat.
- Wrap tightly with heavy duty foil.
- Chill overnight.
- Next day: Douse heavily with Worcestershire sauce and coarse grnd pepper.
- Add in 4 or possibly 5 Tbsp.
- of barbecue sauce.
- Spread across the top.
- Reseal in foil and cook in cold oven at least 6 hrs at 250 degrees.
- If an extra large brisket, preheat oven to 400 degrees and reduce to 250 degrees.
