Golden Fruitcake I

  1. Cream butter, add sugar gradually and continue beating.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  3. Add orange juice, raisins, candied fruit, coconut and nuts.
  4. Fold in sifted dry ingredients.
  5. Turn into greased, double wax paper lined loaf pan and bake at 275F for 2-1/2 to 3 hours.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  7. Turn out and cool completely on rack.
  8. Wrap in plastic wrap; store for 3-5 weeks before serving.
