Choc-Full Of Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
- 2 sticks softened margarine
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. rolled oats, uncooked
- 1 c. all purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
- 2 (1.5 oz.) milk chocolate bars, finely chopped
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy.
- Add eggs, water and vanilla; beat well.
- Add combined oats, flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chopped milk chocolate.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until cookies are set.
- Do not overbake.
- Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet.
- Remove to wire rack and cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
- Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
