Chicken Divan Recipe
- Chicken breasts, boneless, skinless (approximately 2 lbs.)
- Fresh broccoli
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 pkg. shredded white Cheddar cheese
- Bread crumbs
- butter
- Precook chicken breasts (cook in foil to retain moisture); approximately 30 min in a 300 degree oven.
- Steam broccoli flowerets.
- Cover bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking dish with cut up chicken.
- (Can lay full breasts but bite-sized pcs are easier to serve).
- Cover chicken with steamed broccoli.
- Mix together soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, curry pwdr and lowfat milk.
- Cover chicken and broccoli with soup mix.
- Top with shredded white Cheddar cheese.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Lay small pats of butter on top of everything.
- Cook uncovered 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
