Creamy Spam Broccoli Casserole

• 1 x nonstick cooking spray
• 1 package pasta, elbow macaroni
• 2 cups broccoli, frozen thawed, and drained
• 1 can spam cubed
• 1/2 cup sweet red bell peppers chopped
• 2 cups milk, skim
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
• 3/4 cup bread crumbs soft
• 2 teaspoons margarine melted

1. Heat oven to 350'F.
2. Spray 2-casserole with vegetable cooking spray.
3. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
4. In casserole, combine macaroni, broccoli, SPAM, and red pepper.
5. In small saucepan, stir together milk, cornstarch, and pepper until cornstarch is dissolved.
6. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened.
7. Reduce heat to low.
8. Add cheese; stir until melted.
9. Stir sauce into SPAM mixture.
10. Combine bread crumbs and margarine; sprinkle on top of casserole.
11. Bake 40 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
