Hamburger Potato Puffs Recipe
- 1 pound lean grnd beef
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper, minced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 (8 ounce.) can Hunts tomato sauce with cheese
- 1 tbsp. minced parsley
- 4 servings instant mashed potatoes, prepared according to pkg. directions
- Brown beef, onion and green pepper in skillet with oven-proof handle.
- Pour off excess fat.
- Add in seasonings and 1/2 can Hunts tomato sauce with cheese.
- Simmer 5 min.
- Add in parsley to prepared mashed potatoes.
- Place spoonfuls around edge of skillet on beef mix.
- Pour on remaining Hunts sauce.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min or possibly till puffs are lightly browned.
