Mini-Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 slice white bread (thick slice)
- 1 egg
- 12-23 cup milk
- 14 cup grated onion
- 14 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- Soak bread in milk.
- Squish into pieces.
- Add meat, egg and spices.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Form into small balls.
- Brown gently on all sides in skillet lightly greased with oil.
- Put balls in oven proof dish.
- Add soup and 3/4 can water to skillet juices.
- Mix and simmer slightly.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Heat, covered, in a 325 oven approzimately 45-60 minutes.
