Peanut Butter Oat Bars

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, 1/4 cup peanut butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla; gradually add the oats. Press into a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  2. Bake at 400u0b0 for 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  3. Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, for topping, melt chips and 1/3 cup peanut butter in microwave for 1 minute.
  5. Stir until blended and spread over warm bars.
  6. Cool completely and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before cutting.
