Caramel Apple Tart

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Let pie crust stand to room temperature.
  3. Combine sugar, cinnamon, lemon zest, and apple slices.
  4. Toss to coat.
  5. Unfold pie crust; place on baking sheet.
  6. Spread caramel apple dip over crust to within 2 inches of edge.
  7. Place apple mixture over caramel.
  8. Sprinkle with pecans.
  9. Fold sides of crust about 2 inches up and over the apples, folding where necessary.
  10. Bake 20 minutes.
  11. Melt jelly in pan over low heat.
  12. Remove tart from oven and brush jelly over entire tart including pastry.
  13. Sift powdered sugar over before serving.
